A galette is a show-stopping free-form fruit tart, and once you’ve tried it, there’s simply no going back to store-bought pies. In this class, we will learn how to make the fillings and the dough, as well as how to shape this beautiful giftable, making it a doubly-excellent gift as there is no serving dish that the recipient needs to find a space for or return to the giver! Chef Kim’s recipe can be adapted to a huge variety of fruits so that you can make galettes all year round and experiment with the different fruity flavors across any season. Galettes can also be made ahead of time and frozen until needed, making them perfect gifts for the holidays. Chef Kim will even show you how to package your creations to make them the perfect gift for friends and family – holiday gift shopping DONE!
