Rice ball is a very popular dish, not only in Japan, but across East Asia because it is great for a quick meal, a snack, or as your lunchbox favorite. It’s easy to make and when done right, extremely tasty. Kimbap (Gimbap) is in the same category, using the similar concept of American-style sushi. In this class, you will learn to make a variety of rice balls and kimbap that incorporate different proteins and vegetables – and these foods are perfect for gluten-free diets or vegetarian dishes. Chef Joy will share her personal tips on how to make them just using what you have in your kitchen. Come and join us for a fun night of Asian foods and flavors!
