what you can expect from a 100-hour YTT:

1. Asana Practice and Technique (Posture Alignment)

  • Exploration of common injuries and how to adjust poses accordingly.

2. Pranayama (Breathing Techniques)

  • Introduction to various pranayama (breathing exercises) like Ujjayi, Kapalbhati, Nadi Shodhana, and others.
  • Understanding the relationship between breath and energy (prana) in the body.
  • Teaching breath control for meditation and calming the nervous system.

3. Yoga Philosophy

  • Overview of key texts in yoga philosophy, like the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Bhagavad Gita, and the Upanishads.
  • Exploration of the 8 limbs of yoga (Ashtanga), including ethical principles (Yamas and Niyamas).

4. Anatomy and Physiology

  • A basic understanding of the human body, muscles, bones, and how they interact during yoga practice.
  • Exploring how yoga impacts the nervous system, muscles, joints, and organs.
  • Teaching modifications and adjustments to cater to students’ unique physical needs.

5. Teaching Methodology
