what you can expect from a 100-hour YTT:
1. Asana Practice and Technique (Posture Alignment)
- In-depth study and practice of fundamental yoga poses (asanas).
- Focus on alignment, modifications, and variations to ensure safe practice for yourself and your future students.
- Exploration of common injuries and how to adjust poses accordingly.
2. Pranayama (Breathing Techniques)
- Learning the role of breath in yoga practice.
- Introduction to various pranayama (breathing exercises) like Ujjayi, Kapalbhati, Nadi Shodhana, and others.
- Understanding the relationship between breath and energy (prana) in the body.
- Teaching breath control for meditation and calming the nervous system.
3. Yoga Philosophy
- Overview of key texts in yoga philosophy, like the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Bhagavad Gita, and the Upanishads.
- Exploration of the 8 limbs of yoga (Ashtanga), including ethical principles (Yamas and Niyamas).
4. Anatomy and Physiology
- A basic understanding of the human body, muscles, bones, and how they interact during yoga practice.
- Exploring how yoga impacts the nervous system, muscles, joints, and organs.
- Teaching modifications and adjustments to cater to students’ unique physical needs.
5. Teaching Methodology
- Developing strong communication skills to clearly convey instructions and adjustments.

- Learning how to guide students through different aspects of the practice (breathing, movement, mindfulness).
